The logic of giving: young guides reopen Naples' churches

In the historic center of Naples, young men and women serve as guides at the Duomo and soon at other churches "under restoration and enhancement." Entrance and guided tours are free, and anyone who wishes to donate or become a member is welcome. Many of the guides come from difficult situations. This is a commendable project explained by Don Antonio Loffredo.
 
The wonderful 65-year-old parish priest from the Rione Sanità is the one who founded the youth social cooperative "La Paranza," with which he, among other initiatives, keeps the catacombs in the neighborhood open, deep in the ancient heart of Naples. Now, the priest speaks with contagious enthusiasm about the newly launched project in the churches of the Diocese.
