Among the Dante 700 in the World initiatives linked to new technologies, the multimedia installation Inferno 5 is an app for smartphones and tablets available in five languages, offering the spectator an immersive experience of one of Dante's most memorable passages: Canto V of the Inferno. An innovative way of re-reading the immortal verses and a chance to discover which characters inspired Dante.
This app also reveals the influence that Paolo and Francesca's story and “love which compels whoever is loved to love in return” has had, and still has, on readers all over the world. FIND OUT MORE
