Trio Il Volo specialize in making the old feel new again. The group, known for its brand of pop opera affectionately dubbed “popera,” has made the centuries-old genre mainstream again. Now, Il Volo’s latest endeavor is reviving beloved “Cinema Paradiso” and “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly” composer Ennio Morricone’s famous soundtracks with vocals over them.
On Nov. 5, the singers released the album “Il Volo Sings Morricone” and have since announced a U.S. tour with shows in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania to accompany the new 14-track offering. To see international superstars Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble, and Ignazio Boschetto live in concert in 2022, all the details are below.
