Rome is the second most popular international destination for US tourists this summer, after London, according to the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
The association's eleventh annual Hot Spots for Summer survey revealed that Rome is in second place with an eight per cent share of votes, with London in top place with nine per cent, in the top ten international cities.
