Althought very small, this lovely borough has a lot to offer to visitors. The list of what to see in Todi is long and certainly full of surprises; inside its ancient walls there is room for contemporary arts as much as for a rich heritage of churches and centuries-old monuments.
The first foundation of Todi is very ancient indeed, according to historians it dates back to the 8th century BC. For many years Todi has also been home to an important theatre and visual art festival and it's the homeland of one of the founders of the italian language, the 12th century poet Jacopone da Todi.
