The project was announced in March 2014, but now it's ready to go. In a very warm Roman morning, Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of jewelry company Bulgari, together with the Mayor of Rome, Ignazio Marino, inaugurated the restoration works of the Spanish Steps, one of the most iconic and loved places in the city.
Bulgari, since 2011 one of the most brilliant gems of the Lvmh luxury group, will donate €1.5 million to the city of Rome. The restoration will end in spring 2016, and with the Jubilee year to open in December, starting from that month tourists will enjoy the beauty of the stairway thanks to a special path and the transparency of the work area.
