With only 9,000 residents, over 40,000 tourists have spent at least one night in Cherasco: this little town in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont, relies on culture, history and art, as well as on food.
Cherasco is preparing to host the exhibition "Nel segno dei Savoia," from September 3 to October 16, which will feature over 70 artworks, including 30 portraits of the royal Savoy family, and will present 400 historical documents about the city, a "diplomatic fortress," where the 1631 peace treaty was signed after the succession war of the Duchy of Mantua.
