The final of the 2023-2024 Champions League in women's volleyball will be all-Italian. Conegliano has indeed joined Milan in the final act of Europe's top competition, which will be staged on Sunday, May 5. In fact, the Italian champions defeated Eczacibasi Istanbul 3-1 in the return semifinal in the Anatolian metropolis, after they had won the first leg match 3-2 in Treviso.

The Panthers defended their season unbeaten streak and outclassed the Turkish World Champions. Conegliano will play the fourth Champions League final in its history: in 2019 it lost to Novara, in 2021 it triumphed against VakifBank Istanbul, to which it lost in 2022.

So there will be an all-Italian final five years after the 2019 one; previously there had been three others: Matera-Ravenna in 1993, Modena-Reggio Calabria in 2001, Bergamo-Asystel Novara in 2005.

Conegliano has won the previous four seasonal matches against Milan, which will have its first chance to lift the most coveted trophy to the sky: Italian Cup final, Italian Supercup final, two regular season matches in Serie A1.
