Clichés are everywhere, including surfing. Italians (maybe) do it better, but not with surfboards, and in Italy there are not good waves. Stuff like this was (and still is), easy to ear in conversations aboute Euro-surfing. As usual, who talked never saw the places mentioned. Never saw Sardinia. Never saw Capo Mannu.
Capo Mannu, in the amazing Sardinia island, is located 20 km North of the city of Oristano. In the late 70's, local pioneers of surfing discovered the greatness of this spot. Exposed by all the western winds, Mistral is the real king of Capo Mannu. Every mediterranean surfer well knows what this spot can offer.
