Congratulations to NIAF Board Member Anita Bevacqua McBride on receiving the 2014 Ellis Island Medal of Honor by the National Coalition of Ethnic Organizations. Anita will accept the award at a ceremony on May 10 in the historic Great Hall at Ellis Island, New York.
A former assistant to President George W. Bush and chief of staff to First Lady Laura Bush, Anita currently serves as the executive-in-residence at the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies in the School of Public Affairs at American University.
