Frank Sinatra was born 100 years ago, on Dec. 12, 1915. But no dust has collected on his life's work. Sinatra's music remains as vibrant and fresh as in his heyday. Born and raised in Hoboken, Francis Albert Sinatra grew up to become royalty in New York, Palm Springs, Miami, Las Vegas and Hollywood.
Any American city with an ounce of glamour was proud to claim him. He sang about Chicago and even about Asbury Park, albeit in an incidental manner. ("Is it for all time, or simply a lark? Is it Granada I see, or only Asbury Park?" was the line from "At Long Last Love.")
