Dear all, I hope this finds you well. I’m writing you because I would like to address with you this cause that is very close to my heart. Beatrice Varotti was my godchild, and the most wonderful, caring, loving and pure human being I’ve ever had the privilege to spend time with. At the age of 18 months, she contracted a brain virus (still unknown) that caused her nerve and psychiatric disorders.
The project of my first album, Christmas Around the World, was born due to Beatrice and her passion for singing holiday songs with me. Beatrice has lived her 25 years loving and enjoying each moment on this Earth, appreciating each second spent with family and friends, laughing at simple things and looking at everything with the eyes of a child.
Tragically and unexpectedly, Beatrice’s fight ended this past Tuesday, March 9, 2021, after many weeks spent in the hospital due to her worsening condition. Before being induced by the doctors in a pharmaceutic coma, Beatrice told her family that she was happy and at peace.
I cannot be close to my family due to COVID, I cannot say my last “goodbye” to my godchild and bosom friend (AMICA DEL CUORE as Beatrice was used to call me), I cannot hug her mom and comfort her as I used to do when I was in my hometown.
But, with your help, I can do one thing: from this moment on, all the proceeds from my Christmas album will be collected in a special fund in Beatrice’s honor, to help her family and many other kids that are suffering similar conditions.
The cost of the album is only $10.00 and I would be forever thankful if each of you could send this email to even only one friend; this way, maybe we’ll make a difference and we will honor this beautiful soul. (Please, no FB posts).

Christmas is still not close, but it is never too early to give love and hope to others! Thank you for your help.
Love,
Benedetta
