Hardly a day goes by without a press report on the sex trafficking of girls, war rape and child brides.
At Girls' Town Rome, BGTI supports girls who have fled their homes and countries due to war, extreme poverty and abuse to rebuild their lives by leading a self-governing community.
On June 10, Boys' & Girls' Towns of Italy publicly announced the launch of an $800,000 capital campaign to triple the capacity at Girls' Town and to play its role in responding to the growing global humanitarian crisis of violence and abuse of girls.
With the generous support of the Saturno Brothers Italian Orphan Foundation and major donors Dick Parrillo and Lee Rizzuto, Sr, BGTI has already surpassed $509,000 and construction is underway.
We need your help to reach our goal of raising an additional $291,000.
