March 11, 4pm EST. Guy Placido Raffa, associate professor of Italian studies at UT-Austin, is the author of several books on Dante, most recently Dante’s Bones: How a Poet Invented Italy (Harvard University Press, 2020).
His current project, “Dante’s American Afterlife,” is supported by a Public Scholars Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities. He has also authored the essay “Dante and Mad Men" and "Dante and Racial Justice." Please register in advance for this event by clicking here.
