An Italian-American man who didn't want to be named was ejected from a Major League Baseball game because he was intoxicated and Italian, with a video of the incident being posted on Social Media. The video, which was posted on Sunday night, shows the staff member telling the baseball fan he was being thrown out because, "you're intoxicated and Italian".
Could you imagine if this was said to a Mexican, Asian, Muslim, Jew or an African-American? It seems to me that all races and ethnicities are sensitively and nobly protected from antiquated, ignorant expression. With one exception: Italian-Americans.
