Rocco Commisso has secured an immediate boost after taking over ACF Fiorentina, with the Serie A club securing a spot in this summer’s International Champions Cup. Fiorentina will replace AS Roma, who have had to withdraw from the pre-season soccer tournament – which is run by Relevent Sports – due to Europa League qualification demands.

Fiorentina will play three matches in the United States: against Chivas de Guadalajara July 16 at SeatGeek Stadium in Chicago, July 20 against Arsenal at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Saturday, July 20, and July 24 against Benfica at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.
