It’s all over but the counting! It’s our final episode examining the results of our ITALIAN IDENTITY 2020 SURVEY, our amateur analysis of the present and future of the 25-million-person Italian American community. Drawing on findings from more than 1,600 respondents from throughout the nation, this final episode takes us into the traditions and trends of Italian America to understand how our culture manifests itself in our everyday lives.

We will discover which Italian American customs still define our shared experience, how often we engage in the habits, happenings, and holidays that make us who we are… from basement wine making, to Easter Pie consumption, to the sacred ritual of the Sunday meal. We explore attitudes surrounding the acquisition of Italian dual citizenship, how respondents feel about the Columbus Day controversy, and the state of Italian American assimilation in the 21st Century.
