Simone Spadoni and Simona Caporale shared a love for dance long before they fell in love with one another. The couple, married for nine years, became friends as teenagers and dance partners when they were in their 20s in their native Rome.
Caporale began her dance journey at 5 years old with ballet, modern and jazz. Spadoni started playing soccer when he was 6 years old and discovered dance when he was 15. For the past 25 years, they have trained together in Latin dance. The international competitive dancers have danced throughout Europe and the U.S., stacking up awards including first-place champions and finalists.
