This questionnaire is part of a research project of the Catholic University of Milan supported in part by the General Directorate for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The research project is dedicated to Italian communities in North America in order to build a diffuse community biography that has at its center Italians and Italian-descendants who have contributed and are contributing in various fields to the civic life of the communities in which they have lived or are living.

The research also aims to investigate the relationship that North American Italians and Italo-descendants maintain/do not maintain with their land of origin, on the Italian-ness present in them.
