This week, TV Comedian Jimmy Kimmel broke some happy news from his living room. Sitting on the floor with a porcelain espresso cup at his side, Kimmel interviewed nurse Taylor Chase-Meyers at her home in Boston for his profiles on healthcare workers. Meyers discussed how life had changed over the past few weeks, working a 12-hour night shift at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
After hearing her story, the conversation took a turn. Kimmel announced that Lavazza was honoring the Meyers family with a $10,000 gift. In addition, Lavazza donated 4,500 bags of coffee to the hospital where she works, and 50,000 bags to hospitals throughout the US.
