During the month of July we will highlight theater, dance and new circus performances from VIVERE ALL'ITALIANA (VIA) ON STAGE, a performance festival in video format, focusing each week on a different theme. After Dante and Art, this week we explore Fellini. La dolce vita - by Associazione Teatro Potlach. Theater, multimedia. In Italian with English subtitles. VIEW IT HERE
A multidisciplinary show inspired by the last 50 years of the 21st century as depicted on the big screen by the film maker Federico Fellini. His visions, scenes and characters are part of our cultural reference points and are brought back to life again through the on-stage performance of four actors and an immersive set of lights and video projections. The Roman social life in the 1950s and 1960s is now synonymous with the film's title. Merging theatre and cinema, dream and reality, the show asks us all: does the dolce vita still exist?
