The city's postponed Columbus Day Parade and Italian Festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The festival and parade was originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12. It was postponed due to weather.
According to Mayor Leonard Desiderio and his family, who are hosting the events, the Italian Festival and the Columbus Day Parade will celebrate Sea Isle City's rich Italian heritage.
The Columbus Day Parade will begin at 2 p.m. in front of the Sea Isle City Italian American Club on JFK Boulevard (adjacent to the Sea Isle Bridge). The parade will feature first responders, representatives from local businesses and civic organizations, members of Sea Isle City's Italian American Club, county and municipal officials, Sea Isle's 2013 "Italian Royal Family," and Cape May County's Miss Cape Resort Ashlyn Laveson, Miss Outstanding Teen Megan Keenan, Miss Pre-Teen Princess Gabriella DiMarco and Miss Tiny Princess Noley Schenck.
