Gorgeous Renaissance textiles and materials are currently on display at the Georgia Museum of Art's exhibit "The Material of Culture: Renaissance Medals and Textiles from the Ulrich A. Middeldorf Collection." The pieces date between the 15th and 17th centuries and depict the prominent Italian culture during this time.
All materials, with exception to the Dalmatic robe, are borrowed from the Indiana University Art Museum. They belong to the famed Renaissance art historian Professor Ulrich Middledorf's collection of incredibly rare and elaborate pieces. The exhibit displays three different varieties of materials: textiles, medals, and plaquettes.
