Dolce Italian, winner of Bravo's "Best New Restaurant" hosted by Tom Colicchio, will begin dinner service on Friday, with lunch service planned in the coming weeks. This is the second concept from LDV Hospitality in the Buckhead Atlanta development, following Corso Coffee, which opened in December 2014. Another LDV concept, American Cut, is set to open nearby in early 2016.
At Dolce Italian, which has two more locations in Miami and Chicago, look for a "fresh take on classics ranging from handcrafted pastas, to indulgent seafood risotto, meatballs over creamy polenta, and a selection of specialty Neapolitan-style pizzas." The 150-seat dining room features mid-century modern furniture and art and a 50-seat wrap-around terrace overlooking the luxury shops of Buckhead Atlanta.
