Construction is underway in North Palm Beach for the sixth and largest Doris Italian Market & Bakery, a South Florida grocery chain in business since 1947. Doris Italian Market has built a brand around authentic Italian-American deli food and a fresh selection of meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables.
The new store also will have wines on tap and pizzas made daily on site. The 22,000 square-foot-locale is slated to open this fall at 11239 US Highway 1, within Shoppes at City Centre. Unlike other Doris Italian Markets, the North Palm Beach shop will feature two bocce ball courts along the south side of the building, adjacent to an outdoor café.
