Fire destroyed Vinny Vito's restaurant in Moody late Sunday night, according to authorities.The fire broke out at about 9:45 p.m. at the Italian restaurant off Moody Parkway. Firefighters from neighboring Leeds were called in to assist the Moody Fire Department with the blaze.
The flames were so intense the roof of the building collapsed. Authorities said the restaurant is a total loss. No injuries have been reported with the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's off are expected at the scene sometime Monday morning.
