The night before Tuesday's announcement, an A-Team of Italian chefs sat at a long rectangular table in the leasing office at the Centre of Tallahassee mall. Four men with heavy Italian accents finalized details with top staffers with Blackwater Resources, the Alabama-based company that took over ownership two years ago.
What was definite: The mall wasn't welcoming a new Cheesecake Factory, much to the chagrin of some residents. However, by March 1, a culinary concept far different than anything ever created in Tallahassee is expected to open at the Centre of Tallahassee mall.
