A Modern Italian-American Story of Leadership, Legacy, and Community: Anna Carabetta Appointed Connecticut Ambassador for We The Italians

In a world where heritage, heart, and hard work still define true leadership, Connecticut’s own Anna Carabetta stands as a modern embodiment of the Italian-American spirit.

Recently appointed as the Connecticut Ambassador for We The Italians, Carabetta brings to this role not only her professional excellence, but the powerful legacy of being the daughter of Italian immigrants, raised in a home where tradition, resilience, and cultural pride shaped her life’s direction.

With meaningful family ties still in Italy, Carabetta honors her heritage daily—carrying forward her parents’ courage while building her own extraordinary impact across Connecticut.

A Multifaceted Leader With One Mission: Service

Carabetta is widely known for her ability to serve her community across multiple fields—each one connected by her dedication to improving lives through wellness, service, design, and culture.

As the founder of STAR Studio Fitness & Wellness, she leads a thriving health community that empowers women and families to become stronger—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

As president of Carabetta Cares Inc., she continues her philanthropic mission through toy drives, outreach events, and initiatives that uplift local families.

She now also expands her service into real estate, specializing as a Realtor for Italian-speaking clients—with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England Properties —offering trustworthy guidance rooted in hospitality, warmth, and cultural connection.

Design Visionary and Builder: A Creative Force Within Carabetta Construction

Beyond her public-facing roles, Carabetta plays a significant role within Carabetta Construction Company alongside her husband. As his personal assistant and creative visionary, she contributes to the design, planning, and conceptual development behind many of the construction and renovation projects.

Her intuitive eye for structure, style, and harmonious living spaces has elevated countless builds and renovations.

Most notably:

She designed and helped build her parents’ home, merging Italian aesthetics with modern comfort.

She has built and renovated her own home, infusing it with timeless elegance and thoughtful function.

She continues to influence home concepts, selections, layouts, and interior design for ongoing construction projects.

Her design work reflects her heritage: craftsmanship, beauty, family-centered living, and the belief that a home is a sanctuary built with love and intention.

A Modern Italian-American Matriarch

While leading in business and community, Carabetta also raised five children, anchoring her as a symbol of the modern Italian-American woman—strong, purposeful, entrepreneurial, and deeply rooted in family.

She embodies the values passed down through generations:

Lavoro — Work with integrity.

Famiglia — Invest deeply in your loved ones.

Creatività — Build something meaningful.

Passione — Let heart guide every endeavor.

These values now echo through her studio, her nonprofit, her construction design work, her real estate career, and her new ambassador role.

Building Bridges for the Future

As Connecticut’s Ambassador for We The Italians, Carabetta is committed to strengthening cultural connections, sharing Italian-American achievements, and celebrating the vibrant contributions of Italian families across the state. She aims to unite organizations, uplift traditions, and highlight the enduring beauty of Italian culture in Connecticut.

“My parents’ journey is the foundation of everything I am,” Carabetta shares. “Their sacrifices, traditions, and values are woven into every role I take on. Being a voice for Italian-Americans in Connecticut is an honor—one that celebrates not just my family’s story, but the story of so many others.”

A New Chapter of Legacy and Leadership

From wellness leader, to nonprofit founder, to design visionary, to Italian-speaking Realtor, and now cultural ambassador—Anna Carabetta represents the evolution of the Italian-American woman: rooted in tradition yet boldly shaping the future.

Her story radiates strength, elegance, and the enduring spirit of Italy—brought to life in Connecticut, and shared proudly with the world.
