Do you love ravioli, fettucine, spaghetti and all things Italian?! The annual Great Italian Festival is turning downtown Reno into little Italy for the weekend. The festival, hosted by the ROW, is a celebration of Italian culture and traditions which includes live entertainment, a sauce cooking contest and of course a lot of pasta.

If you are interested in participating in the sauce cook-off, you can purchase a sampling tray for $5 at the pasta booth in front of the Reno Ballroom starting at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Members of the media, including employees from News 4 and Fox 11, will participate in a grape stomp competition Sunday at noon.
