AIHA February Monthly Meeting & Cultural Presentation

American Italian Heritage Museum - 1227 Central Ave - Albany, NY 12205. Thursday, February 22nd. The business meeting starts at 7:00pm, followed by Kevin Wilson's presentation: "Sully's Squad". As Mr. Wilson states, the topic will include but is not limited to: "History of my Italian Family who arrived from Ariano Irpino through Naples to Granville, NY to work in the quarries. The likeness of me to my Uncle Salvatore "Sullivan" Fringi called Sully. He was a Sargent in the Army First Division "Big Red One" and paid the ultimate sacrifice in the Sicilian campaign.

I will then discuss the process of how I began the manuscript on my Uncle called Sully's Squad and an overview of the book from the creative design to character structure to the story' itself which is still in editing. I will also bring in the Italian Resistance who helped create obstacles for the Germans during the occupancy at the end of September 1943." Free and open to the public. Please bring dessert for the reception following the presentation.
