Great result last night at Villa Firenze, official residence of the Italian Ambassador to the USA, during a Gala evening organized for the #AmericaLovesVenice campaign, launched by the Italian Embassy in Washington in partnership with Save Venice, the main American non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the artistic heritage of Venice.
During the evening 44.750 dollars were raised, in addition to the over 382.000 dollars already donated since the launch of the campaign. The sums collected will finance restoration projects following the damage caused by the recent waves of bad weather that severely affected the city of Venice, its citizens, its artistic and cultural heritage and its commercial activities.
