CNN has renewed Stanley Tucci's travel and food show "Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy" for a second season, the cable outlet announced Wednesday. The show features the actor traveling throughout various regions of Italy, sampling local delicacies and interviewing chefs, restaurateurs and other people involved in the country’s food industry.
The show is seen as a successor to CNN’s “Parts Unknown,” the travel, culture and food program hosted by the late Anthony Bourdain that launched in 2013. That show won multiple Emmy awards before it ended in 2018 after Bourdain took his own life.
