Prada opens its first store in Orlando, USA, in the prestigious 'The Mall at Millenia'. Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the new retail space occupies a total surface of 370 square meters on one level. As reported in fibre2fashion.com, the store offers the women's collections of ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories and footwear as well as the men's collections of leather goods and accessories.
The visually stunning façade inside the mall is distinguished by a radiant resin "curtain" set in a regular pattern of polished steel sections. The structure accommodates the entrance, the main window and two display niches. The interior is divided into a series of rooms, each of a different size and with a different set of materials.
