The Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will open the event “Diplomazia della crescita: iniziative, progetti e sinergie con la candidatura di Roma Expo 2030” (“Growth diplomacy: initiatives, projects and synergies with Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030”) this afternoon at the Farnesina, together with the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, and the President of the Rome EXPO 2030 Promoting Committee, Ambassador Giampiero Massolo. More than 200 representatives of companies, trade associations and internationalisation agencies will attend the event.
The meeting is aimed at raising the profile of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ articulated growth diplomacy action among the Italian productive fabric and at showing representatives of the Italian business world the specific advantages that the assignment of the Universal Exhibition in Rome in 2030 would have for the entire Italian Economic System.
