With their Fillmore-filmed PBS special due for broadcast in a few weeks, the pop-opera trio Il Volo has announced a 17-concert North American tour that includes a stop at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.

Tickets for the Sept. 21 concert are expected to go on sale in June, coinciding with the May 28 release of a special-edition version of the CD "We Are Love," which includes five newly recorded songs: One Direction's "Little Things," Sarah McLachlan's "Angel," "Surrender (Torna A Sorrento)," "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and West Side Story's "Maria."

On June 1 PBS stations around the country are scheduled to begin airing the TV special "Il Volo: We Are Love," shot in March at a packed Fillmore Miami Beach. The personable Italian teenagers –– Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble and Ignazio Boschetto –– performed all the new songs for an appreciative crowd of female admirers of all ages, with more hits than misses. The concert was followed the next night by a PBS Christmas-themed program "Buon Natale," which will begin airing in November.

Of course, Il Volo's PBS debut, 2012's "Il Volo Takes Flight," was inescapable, airing more than 2,000 times between its original broadcast in March and December.
