Danielle Pinkerton spent four years working to build a high school the entire county could be proud of, not just the islands community.
Now, she's going to Rome. Pinkerton, who opened Islands High school in 2010, will leave the Savannah-Chatham County public school system on June 30 to become head of an international school in Rome, Italy.
