The shop windows of Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, two of the main roads of the Fashion District (also known with the Italian words Quadrilatero della Moda), usually have "London – New York - Paris" written just under the brand logos. It's not surprising that the same brands, in those places quoted on the shop windows, have MILAN written among the others. And it's not surprising that those brands are usually Italian ones either!
As far as we can say, Milan is in itself a brand of the highest ranked fashion industry and the names of the factories it hosts are echoing the fashion blogs and magazines all around the world (do we have to mansion Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist in order to comprehend the magnitude of Milan influence on fashion world?)
