Vienna residents may be familiar with locally-owned Pazzo Pomodoro with its Italian pastas and pizzas served on red checkered tablecloths. But at the same shopping center, the restaurant group has a sister restaurant with a focus on Italian deli goods and items to take and enjoy at home.
Nozzo Pazzo Deli Delizioso had opened in December 2022 at 122 Branch Road SE (Danor Plaza), serving made-to-order subs and sandwiches, freshly sliced meats and cheeses, house-made salads and pasta, imported Italian oils, sauces and dry pasta, wood-fired 16-inch pizzas and 8-inch pizza by the slice. The deli's name is a play on sister restaurant Pazzo Pomodoro, which translates to "Crazy Tomato." Nozzo Pazzo essentially means "not so crazy."
