A Tavola - Telling H.E.R. Story, NOIAW signature national program, started in 2023 to gather Italian women's voices on our History, Education, and Renaissance, launches its second chapter. We will talk about the names and faces behind the stories that you learned a tavola. How do we keep the spirit of those names alive? Why is it important to share our stories?

On Wednesday, October 9, at 6 pm at Columbus Citizens Foundation, CNN anchor and author Alisyn Camerota, NOIAW 2016 Honoreee, and culinary influencer, tv show host and cookbook author Anna Francese Gass, NOIAW 2023 Wise Woman, will start the conversation.

Alisyn and Anna will share the stories they learned around the table of the Italian women who came before them, and how they have chosen to tell these stories in memoir and cookbook formats: Alisyn Camerota's Combat Love and Anna Francese Gass' Heirloom Kitchen: Heritage Recipes & Family Stories from the Table of Immigrant Women.
