Il Volo, the popular international opera crossover trio who started as teens, will undertake a tour to mark its 10th anniversary that will stop at Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, it was announced Friday. The male vocal group of tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto and baritone Gianluca Ginoble will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 11.
Tickets, at $69.50-$99.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 27 at the event center box office at 77 Wind Creek Blvd., Bethlehem; at www.windcreekeventcenter.com and at 800-745-3000. The group is scheduled to release an album, “10 Years – The Best of,” a collection of the trio’s repertoire that honors its career, on Nov. 8.
