In 2010 she moved from Italy to the United States to perfect her musicianship at Peabody Conservatory of Music where she studied with jazz legends Jay Clayton and Gary Thomas. Irene is getting her Master Degree in Jazz Performance at Howard University where she is also a member of the multi-awarded a cappella jazz ensemble Afro Blue.
