The i-Talians will perform songs by singers-songwriters (cantautori) including Vecchioni, Guccini, De Gregori, De André, Baglioni, Branduardi and Battisti. Every song will be provided with an English translation and commentary by Prof. Francesco Ciabattoni (Georgetown University), whose forthcoming book La citazione è sintomo d'amore (Rome: Carocci, 2015) reveals the literary references in the songs.
