Actor, filmmaker and playwright Chazz Palminteri will tell his story of the play and film “A Bronx Tale” at Bally’s Dover’s Rollins Center on June 23 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $40-$100 and will be on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at ballysdover.com. A portion of sales will be donated to the Delaware Italian American Foundation.
Mr. Palminteri was born in the Bronx, New York, where he began pursuing his career at The Actors Studio. In 1988, he wrote a play about himself, depicting his childhood and bringing 18 characters to life in a one-man stage commentary. Over the subsequent years, he refused the sale of the play unless he was packaged as both the actor and screenwriter.
