The Chicagoland Italian American Professionals will host a series of concerts by world-renowned accordionist Cory Pesaturo in September. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Pesaturo is known for his innovative approach to the instrument. He plays acoustic, digital, jazz and classical music; has won numerous awards, and performed at the White House and on “The Late Show” as well as nationally televised programs in New Zealand, Canada, Italy, Tunisia, France and Finland.
The concert series, “Arte & Musica,” will be held outdoors at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11, 12 and 13 at Villa Sciacca, 539 S. Oak Park Ave. in Oak Park. The event will include gourmet Italian food sourced from local Italian restaurants and feature Sicilian wines from the Di Giovanna Estate Winery.
