Live Italian music returns to Chicago this month as international superstar Zucchero brings his Overdose d’Amore World Tour to the Copernicus Center on Thursday, May 16. “Zucchero’s live show is one of the most electrifying, upbeat and exciting Italian musical experiences we bring to Chicago,” says Ron Onesti, promoter of the Chicago show. “Everyone is dancing and singing along. It’s a great show for all ages!”
Zucchero Forniciari has been selling out arenas all over the world since the 1970s and has sold more than 60 million records in the course of a 40-year career. Among his many honors are four Festivalbar, nine Wind Music, two World Music and six Europe Platinum awards as well as a Grammy nomination.
