Southern Italian sounds and rhythms will fill the air on July 14, as Mauro Pagani and his Orchestra Popolare bring "La Notte della Taranta" to Boston Common.
Part of the Outside the Box Festival and co-sponsored by the Year of Italian Culture in the United States, the concert will deliver irresistible pizzica-infused ballads from a group that for more than a decade has been working tirelessly to preserve the rich musical heritage of Salento, in Puglia.
