Mister Wonderland by Italian director Valerio Ciriaci

Click here for tickets and more info. The film, written by Ciriaci in collaboration with cinema historian and Yale alum Luca Peretti, previously won the ‘Il Cinemino’ award at the prestigious Festival dei Popoli in Florence upon its world premiere in November 2019.

"Mister Wonderland” recounts the extraordinary story of Sylvester Z. Poli, an artisan of humble means who left his hometown in the Tuscan countryside for the United States at the end of the 19th century, only to become one of the greatest theatrical impresarios of his time. Local historian Anthony Riccio will be moderating a Q&A with director Valerio Ciriaci after the screening.
