Local performer Jack Lynn will sing a host of Dean Martin songs during Dean Martin Night, Sunday, Aug. 30, 5 p.m., at St. Frances Cabrini Church Hall, 57 Pond Hill Road. Sing, socialize and enjoy the music of Dean Martin — the performance, which is $15 BYOB and open to the public, is sponsored by the North Haven Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge 2805. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
Attendees will also receive a complimentary raffle ticket the chance to win a Dean Martin themed gift basket. Jack Lynn was born in Bridgeport at the time Dean Martin's career was beginning to take off. Born of a Sicilian immigrant mother, Lynn was raised in the atmosphere of a typical Italian family of the 1950s.
