South Boston will be breaking out the green, white, and red Thursday as the neighborhood celebrates its Italian residents at Medal of Honor Park.
The annual South Boston Italian Pride event, which includes a concert featuring Michael Dutra and the Strictly Sinatra Band, will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 22.
Thursday's event, which is sponsored by the city of Boston and is free, will also include children activities. For more information contact the city of Boston at (617) 635-3911.
