Grab your tarantella shoes and join Alessandra Belloni and the renowned Southern Italian folk company I Giullari di Piazza (The Jesters of the Square) for a Benefit performance of "Tarantata," a production of songs, tarantellas, and magic rituals used to cure the mythical bite of the tarantula, performed with authentic instrumentation and costuming.
There will also be awards to actor Armand Assante, actress Eleonora Pieroni, and entrepreneur Jesus Puerto, who will all be in attendance, enjoying the performance and a delicious Italian dinner.
